Pro Race Gear has worked with world-renowned helmet manufacturer Arai to make the best Drag Race helmet available today- the Pro Tracker. Enhancements that set our helmets apart from the competition include a modified the eyeport opening, reconfigured neck padding and a raising of the rear base of the helmet.

These changes made result in maximum periphery vision for bracket racing as well increasing the vertical view angle. The changes at the rear of the helmet allow greater range of motion in the neck resulting in better vision of the tree and finish line in a tucked position. You will not “bottom out” the helmet, causing it to tilt forward and block your vision of the starting tree.

The Pro Tracker has the #2 light lay-up for minimum weight to reduce fatigue, increase comfort, while retaining Arai's highest safety standards. The front venting system keeps the shield clear and allows for excellent airflow inside the helmet. The rear side vents exhaust the warm air out. The fit in conjunction with the double lip shield seal makes for a very quiet helmet.

We require that you are fitted at your local Arai dealer, or at a track vendor at selected race events. The Pro Tracker comes in white or black. Larger and smaller check pads are available for customized fit. Standard shield is clear with optional lite smoke, dark smoke, and yellow shields.

Sizes are extra small, small, medium, large, extra large, and double-extra large.

Directions for Finding your Helemt Size

In order to comply with Arai's policies about correct fit, before we can ship you a helmet, we need your head size information. You 1st need to measure around the widest part of your upper head, ie. the crown. We need the measurement in centimeters. If you do not understand or are unsure of how or what to do please call or email so we can go over it with you.

Take a soft tape measure, wrap it around the widest part of your head This is usually just above your eyebrows (1" to 1.5"). Most measure tapes are in cm. on one side inches on the other. Use the cm. side to get your head circumfrence. This is the number needed to order the helmet. When trying on the helmet at home, there's several points about the fit. 1st, you want the helmet tite around the circumfrence of your head, but not to tight to give you a headache!! 2nd, you will notice your cheeks being pressed in, the helmet is designed to lock under your cheekbones. This will initial feel tight but will become comfortable in a short time. This feature prevents your helmet from lifting, you do not want the strap holding the helmet from lifting in normal use!!

If you need to send the helmet back for another size, repack the helmet back in its box and reship it back to Pro Race Gear or the dealer you bought it from. State whether you need to go 1 size bigger or smaller. The freight to return the helmet is at your expense but there's no freight charge for the new size coming back.
